Goodbye Divinity

I just came here to post Goodbye Divinity as I came across it while just pointing and clicking on Youtube.

I'm fully aware of Billy Sheehan and Mike Portnoy's work with Ritchie Kotzen in The Winery Dogs, but I don't remember anything about Sons of Apollo. Goodbye Divinity is enough to make me buy their album from a couple years back, as well as I am now looking forward to their new one.

Also, I"m a big fan of much of Jeff Scott Soto's work, so this is a win, win, win for me.

Apparently these guys did a 24 song set someplace in Rome a couple years back. They did a number of cover tunes, including this one:

I really appreciate how they took this epic LZ tune and paid homage to it by sticking to the script rather than a group of guys with as much talent as these guys have and just going off and turning it into a personal showcase. There are times where I really can appreciate the restraint used in a tribute or cover track like this.
