Overview:
Core is the debut album by the American rock band Stone Temple Pilots, released on September 29, 1992 through Atlantic Records. The album, which peaked at #1 on the Billboard Heatseekers chart and #3 on the Billboard 200, was certified 8x platinum by the RIAA on December 18, 2001, making it the band's best-selling album.

Definitely my favorite album by STP. Aside from Alice in Chains, they are the only other band that I could stomach their music. Most of that "Seatle sound" or "grunge" shit was just that, shit. AIC and STP being the exeptions.

For their debut album, they really nailed it. Favorite song would probably be the first track, Dead and Bloated, with Sex Type Thing as a runner up

I agree, STP and Alice I Chains are the two best grunge bands of the 90's. What makes STP different from the Seattle bands is that STP were from L.A.
