Buffy St. Marie

Do any of you out there like or ever listen to the music of Buffy Sainte-Marie? She is a Cree from Canada and became a folk singer in the sixties and an advocate for Indian rights. I have heard of her but did not know her music until earlier this year. I don’t know if it were played on the radio stations I ever listened to. I caught something on her website that her music was “suppressed” because it spoke out against injustice but a lot of other artist's music did too… so I don’t know why she’d be singled out.

I remember her from back then but don't remember much of what she did musically, I do remember her being an activist.
