Overview:
"Ritchie Blackmore's Rainbow" is the first studio album by Rainbow released in August 1975. The album is recorded at the Musicland Studios in Munich (Germany) during February and March 1975. Producer is Martin Birch.

The first Rainbow album I ever bought. Still have it on vinyl somewhere. I think probably right next to the furnace with the rest of my vinyl, to make sure they stay nice and dry.

All joking aside, this is a hell of an album. Just listened to it a few weeks back

I loved this album when it first came out. I became a huge Dio Fan because of it.
Me, too. But at the time I was like 16 or so and had no clue who Dio was and what he would go on to become. I just knew this album was a staple at a lot of the parties I went to.
