The Guinness Book of Records heralds Jonathan as the oldest living chelonian and land animal on Earth: born in 1882, he turned 190 on Dec 4th 2022 !
Jonathan is blind by cataract, lost the senses of smell and taste, but his hearing is 100% in top shape. He lives on the island of St Helena in the South Atlantic, in the grounds of the Governor's estate

Talking age, I once read a philosopher saying: "Life is all wrong. We should be born old and make out way down thru the years becoming younger" ! You know, his theory is not to throw out the window !!!
