Gotthard is a hard rock / AOR band from Switzerland. 11 of their albums have reached number 1 on the Swiss Rock Charts making them the most successful hard rock band in Swiss history. Their music is guitar riff based and melodic. They never got much attention here in the USA, which is too bad because they are a solid band and Steve Lee's voice is outstanding.
Some people would call this a Deep Purple cover, but in reality it is a cover of a 1967 country song by Billy Joe Royal......HUSH......
