Listened to the two new songs from this album. Mostly "meh" as many of Bon Jovi's songs/albums have been for the better part of the last 20 years (just my honest opinion).
Limitless sounds like a top 40 song that you could hear from just about any band that is making music for TV shows on the CW Network, meaning it sounds like it's aimed at mid-to-late teens, maybe early 20-somethings.
Unbreakable isn't bad, seems to have a decent message, but it is also a bit flat and doesn't go anywhere.
In my opinion, Bon Jovi is LONG removed from it's glory days and I feel that at least part of that is because of Richie Sambora's absence. A good (not great) guitar player whose biggest contribution that seems to be missing is his background vocals. I think that Richie's vocals were a key element to Bon Jovi's sound almost as much as Michael Anthony's were to Van Halen's sound.
