Wow, weird-o-rama! I bet if you played this for someone on acid it would be an instant bad trip. I have to check my archives, but I don't think I have anything that comes close to that.

Edit: I just played this backward, it sounds exactly the same as forwards. ;)

How do you play the videos backwards? Not that I need to know this, but I am curious.

Have you heard a scary nightmare lately? Post it!!!!
I lost it when they started pop and locking. :gig:

That's indeed quite unsettling. I dig the brief blast beat parts!

To answer your question, no, I haven't heard a scary nightmare lately, unless you count Nile's music as scary, which I suppose it is to some. It's really just brootal, not scary.

Now, have I heard a scary nightmare before? Oh yeah! The Body and their entire discography is pretty nuts. I love their demented, bizarre-sounding vocals and their overall weirdness in general. The first video was definitely staged. LOL.

The Ebb and Flow of Tides in a Sea of Ash (from Master, We Perish)

Hail to Thee, Everlasting Pain (from I Shall Die Here, my favorite album of theirs)

Empty Hearth (from All the Waters of the Earth Turn to Blood)

@Mr. Gregory

The Body is definitely creepy. The first video you posted is freakin scary, too, with all the dead bodies....lol. The second vid is trippy with the foggy screams being super creepy.

I like finding the weird & unusual and occasionally disturbing & spooky.

I haven't had the guts to give this one a full listen yet.....it comes with a warning ""Over an hour of music, designed to induce trances, possession states, and out-of-body experiences. Not a "record," but a philosophical tool". It is Deconstructionist by Giles Cory.

It is by far the weirdest shit I have ever listened to.

Yeah, those dudes are nuts. Ha ha. I like them, though.

As crazy as The Body is, Blut Aus Nord is definitely the most bizarre thing I've ever listened to. This song, Axis, is usually my go to whenever someone asks me to play them the craziest metal I've ever heard. I could definitely imagine this blaring over the loudspeakers in Hell. :gig:

Seriously...

Still not used to my goof-ball sense of humor? I didn't play it backward, I was just joking, I was thinking to myself it probably sounded the same backward, that was just me thinking out loud.

I could play it backward by burning it to a disc, then Importing it into my 32 track recorder, then do an edit track/reverse track.
